Our Resources

We believe in sharing what we have learned and developed with our literacy colleagues. There is something for every learner here at CBAL!

What resources do we offer?

Since 2001, CBAL has been creating resources and sharing them with our communities, partners, and other literacy practitioners. We believe in collaborating in order to reach more people, so it only make sense to for us to share these resources for free.

We have curriculums for family, adult and senior programs that are available to be downloaded. The literacy field is growing rapidly and thanks to a strong network, supported by Decoda Literacy Solutions, and easy access through digital technology, sharing our resources with you is easy.

In addition to our downloadable resources, we have a YouTube channel that is home to our Literacy on the Go learning series. It is also where you will find our online writing program Telling Our Life Stories (TOLS) program. No matter where you are, learning is at your fingertips!

Love 2 Learn

Love 2 Learn is a program for 3-5 year olds and their parents and caregivers. The program builds literacy skills through a variety of interactive activities.

Playing with building blocks can be a great family literacy activity. This manual offers ideas on how to make playing with building blocks in family literacy programs not just fun, but a learning activity, too.

Telling Our Life Stories- 2022

CBAL has developed a writing workshop that helps adults to put their life experiences into words.
